PetSmart, T.J. Maxx To Open New Stores At Waterbury Shopping Center: Report

WATERBURY, CT — T.J. Maxx and PetSmart both plan to open new locations in the Mattatuck Commons shopping center on Wolcott Street, the Connecticut Post reports. PetSmart is scheduled to hold a grand opening April 13, however an opening date for T.J. Maxx has not been announced.

According to the Connecticut Post, PetSmart will open in a space previously occupied by Royal Buffet & Grill, replacing its current Bank Street store. A T.J. Maxx spokesperson declined to comment to CT Post on whether or not the new store would replace its existing Union Street store.

In addition to Waterbury, PetSmart operates a number of locations throughout Connecticut, including stores in Berlin, Orange, Manchester, Plainville, New London, North Haven, Enfield, Norwalk, Stamford and East Hartford.

T.J. Maxx also has a number of store locations throughout Connecticut, including stores in Southbury, Southington, Bristol, Meriden, Hamden and North Haven.
