PHOTOS: Schools Celebrate 'Read Across Naugatuck'
In honor of the late Dr. Seuss' birthday, and the national "Read Across America" day, many borough schools held assemblies and had guest readers pay a visit.
Schools around Naugatuck celebrated "Read Across America" day on Friday by inviting guest speakers in and promoting the importance of reading to the students.
March 2 also marks the birthday of the famous children's author Dr. Seuss, and the iconic images were pervasive at Naugatuck schools.
Students at , and schools all participated in the occassion by reading Seuss' stories.
