βBalance is key to living a healthy life. We created βPilobolus Connecting with Balanceβ so that anyone could reconnect with their body and improve their physical balance, stability and mobility,β says Kent. βBalance is behind everything we do and improving balance increases independence and quality of life. It helps us move better in our day-to-day lives, offers a crucial step in recovering from injuries, and reawakens senses dulled from a sedentary lifestyle.β
βPilobolus Connecting with Balanceβ offers a series of simple exercises based on a half century of techniques that playfully investigate and increase oneβs capacity for mobility, stability and expression. A few simple household items, a chair, a cone, or a ball, are all that are required. The sessions are offered at three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced, and intensifications and modifications are available for each exercise. Participants track their progress through the assessment video.

The entire nine-episode sequence of βConnecting with Balance,β and additional pop-up βConnecting with Balanceβ live events are available through an OCL subscription of $14.99/month. (OCL subscribers are also given access to additional arts events and offerings beyond Pilobolus.)
