Police Investigating Cooking Oil Thefts In Naugatuck

Over the past few months, cooking oil has been stolen from oil collection drums located at various restaurants in town, according to police.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police are investigating several recent thefts of cooking oil from oil collection drums at various restaurants in town.

In a Facebook post, police said the department began investigating the thefts on June 21.

According to police, the most recent theft occurred at 585 Main Bar & Grill, located on S Main Street.

The department also posted video surveillance footage in which suspects in the investigation can be seen. The footage can be viewed here.
