Police K-9 Helps Leads to 4 Arrests in Naugatuck
Two men and two teens were charged after an argument ensued, which led one suspect to allegedly grab a baseball bat.

Naugatuck police describe a situation, which led to four people being arrested including two men who were involved in an argument, which led to them picking up a baseball bat and a breaker bar.
The situation ended when a police K-9 sniffed out the location of one of the suspects.
Naugatuck police say at 5:57 p.m. on August 19, officers responded to 48 High Street for a threatening complaint.

The complainant, David Michel, 43, of Smith Street in Ansonia, was allegedly involved in an argument with Bannie Pight, 49, of High Street, police said.
During the argument, Michel picked up a breaker bar and Pight left the area but returned and allegedly threatened to harm Michel with a baseball bat, police said.

The accused ran from the area before police arrived, but a police K-9 found the suspect in a van. Keith Daisey, 19, of High Street, and Sean Kennedy, 18, of Fairlawn Street were charged with interfering with police because they allegedly lied to police about Pight’s location inside the van, police said.
Michel and Pight were each charged with breach of peace and released after posting $500 bond.
