Police: Naugatuck Man Drove His Car Toward His Wife

Police say the incident occurred on Andrew Mountain Road.

A scary incident allegedly occurred on Andrew Mountain Road on Friday.

Police say officers responded to the area on a report of a domestic disturbance between husband and wife.

During an argument, in the driveway, the accused, Jason Lapan, 32, of Andrew Mountain Road, allegedly drove his vehicle toward the victim, police said.

He returned later and a second argument ensued.

During the argument Lapan allegedly attempted to take the victim’s phone while she was calling police, police said.

Lapan was released after posting $25,000 bond. He was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment, and interfering with an emergency call.
