Police Presence Increased At Naugatuck Schools
School districts throughout the state are seeing an increase in school-related threats.

NAUGATUCK, CT — More police officers will be stationed at the Borough's schools over the next several days due to an increase in school-related threats, Naugatuck police announced Thursday.
The department was quick to add that there have been no threats made against any Naugatuck schools, but the department wants to assure the public that it is taking the matter seriously.
In recent days, posts on TikTok have mentioned possible school threats on Friday, and as a result, the Connecticut State Police issued a warning about the matter, and has vowed to monitor it.

This month, the Norwalk School System saw multiple threat calls made against one of its high schools, which led to the city calling in the FBI to help in the investigation.
