Police Rescue Baby Goose From Storm Drain In Naugatuck: PD
Naugatuck officers worked together to free the small animal and returned it to its family safe and sound, according to police.
NAUGATUCK, CT — A family of geese was reunited over the weekend after police officers rescued a baby goose from a storm drain in town.
In a Facebook post, police said dayshift officers came to the rescue Sunday morning after a resident reported a baby goose had fallen into a storm drain on Prospect Street after wandering away from its family.
Officers worked together to free the small animal and returned it to its family safe and sound, according to police.

"We applaud the commitment and compassion of our officers for all of our Naugatuck residents," police said on Facebook.
