Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man accused of pointing a gun at a Naugatuck resident.

NAUGATUCK, CT β Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man accused of pointing a gun at a Naugatuck resident.
In a Facebook post, police said the driver of a newer model black Jeep Grand Cherokee with Arizona Registration XPK425 was involved in a verbal argument with a Walnut Street resident.
During the argument, the driver pointed a small chrome handgun at the resident, police said.

According to police, the driver is described as "a heavy-set light-skinned male with dirty blonde dreads." Photos of the vehicle can be viewed here.
