Popular Restaurant Closes In Naugatuck
The popular pizzeria and family restaurant has closed after more than 30 years in business.
NAUGATUCK, CT — The popular American Pie pizza restaurant has closed after more than 30 years in business in Naugatuck, according to the Citizen’s News.
The restaurant’s owner, Kosta Archontides, told the News he closed American Pie for good on May 14 after the landlord increased the rent.
Archontides, who has owned American Pie since 2012, said he plans to take the summer off but could potentially relocate the business, according to the Citizen’s News.

American Pie was a pizza and family restaurant, located at 500 South Main St., that also served grinders, burgers, salads, chicken wings and Greek specialties.
