Post University Appoints CFO, Senior Vice President

Post University recently appointed Dan Streek to chief financial officer. Streek will replace Scott Allen, who was promoted to senior vice president of administrative services at the University.

Streek, who is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), joins the University following over a decade’s experience serving in senior leadership for various corporations and higher education institutions. Prior to joining Post, Streek spent four years as president and CFO for a prominent advertising agency. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Since 1999, Allen has served in various roles within the accounting and finance office for the University, including his most recent role as Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Allen will be focusing on Administrative Services, Athletics, Campus Life, special projects for the University, development projects and function as a liaison with the many city agencies and community projects. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut, and his bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut.
