Post University Welcomes New Talent to its Academic Community

New vice president of strategic partnerships, director of enrollment, director of international admissions and recruitment, and registrar to join university leadership
WATERBURY – Post University is pleased to announce the appointment of three key leadership roles. Christopher Gersitz will serve as the new vice president of strategic partnerships, while Bryan Timerank assumes the role of director of enrollment. In addition, Judson Epperly, Ph.D., will serve as director of international admissions and recruitment, and Christian Jahnsen will become registrar.
Vice President of Strategic Partnerships Christopher Gersitz will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of all partnerships, collaborations and initiatives that align with the university's mission to advance academic excellence and enhance its impact within the broader community. With over 15 years of experience working with Fortune 15 companies in the healthcare sector, Gersitz has a deep understanding regarding the importance of outreach, talent development and cultivating a winning culture that attracts success. The Dallas, Texas resident received his master’s degree in education from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Keys, Iowa, and his bachelor’s degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
Bryan Timerank brings more than 17 years of higher education experience to his role as the new director of enrollment, overseeing student recruitment and retention. He previously held leadership positions at several higher education institutions including Laurel Springs School in West Chester, Penn., Berks Technical Institute in Wyomissing, Penn., and DeVry University in Philadelphia, Penn. The Pennsylvania native received his MBA from DeVry University and his bachelor’s degree from Franklin Peirce University in Rindge, N.H.
As the new director of international admissions and recruitment, Judson Epperly, Ph.D., will play a vital role in expanding the university’s global outreach and diversifying its student body with top talent from around the world. Prior to joining Post, Epperly served in several positions leading international initiatives and outreach at Interact123 in Brookfield, Conn., Michigan Language Assessment in Ann Arbor, Mich., and Kaplan Medical in Palm City, Fla. He received his Doctor of Management from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Ariz., his MBA from the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and his bachelor’s from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.
Christian Jahnsen joins Post with over 25 years of higher education experience, including 18 years served in the registrar’s office where he oversaw multiple academic teams responsible for scheduling, compliance and servicing both on-ground and online students. Jahnsen is looking forward to further expanding the university's efficiency in maintaining a seamless and streamlined academic experience for all students, faculty and staff. The Tampa Bay resident earned both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fla.
