Pregnant Woman Assaulted, Arrest Made: Naugatuck Police

The accused was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Naugatuck man is accused of assaulting staff at a group home, police said. On April 11 at 4:04 p.m. officers responded to 32 Clark Road for an "out of control male at the residence," police said.

During the officer's investigation, Laman Perry, 40, of Clark Road, was found to have struck his staff at the group home multiple times, police said. It was also found that the staff member was pregnant and the accused was aware of that during the assault, police added.

Perry is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was held on a $25,000 bond.
