Prestigious Businesswomen Scholarship Awarded to Local Post University

Two Post University Students Awarded 2024
Business Women’s Forum “Jaci Carroll Scholarship”
Highly coveted scholarship awarded to promising female business students at Post, with one being the first online student to ever receive the award

WATERBURY, Conn. – Post University is pleased to announce that Megan Lombardt, a junior, and Inalvis Rodriguez, a sophomore, were selected as this year’s recipients of the 2024 Business
Women’s Forum (BWF) “Jaci Carroll Scholarship.” The scholarship is awarded annually to female students enrolled in Post University’s The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business who demonstrate outstanding leadership and academic excellence.

On February 21, the two scholarship recipients were officially recognized and received their award of $3,000 each at the BWF annual conference.

“It's an honor to be a part of a program that empowers women to pursue their academic dreams by not only providing financial support but also the confidence and encouragement they need
to succeed,” said Camille Dumont, Director of the Center for Career and Professional Development at Post and a member of the Business Women’s Forum Board. “The Business Women's Forum is a catalyst for change, providing invaluable resources and mentorship to
aspiring women leaders. I am confident that these young women will thrive as powerful leaders, representing Post with distinction."

In 2018, the scholarships were named in honor of Jaci Carroll, a dynamic businesswoman and founding member of the BWF. Recipients are selected based on their commitments and dedication
to academic excellence and community involvement. The recipients use the funds to cover expenses for academic necessities such as tuition, books and supplies.

Megan Lombardt, a junior, from Windhoek, Namibia, is currently pursuing her bachelor's degrees in marketing and finance. The scholar-athlete also represents Post as a member of the Women’s
Tennis team.

Miami, Fla. native Inalvis Rodriguez, a sophomore, is pursuing her undergraduate degree in business administration. She is the first online student to receive the award.

The other scholarship finalists were Post students Bailey Dickenson and Anna Bonato.

The largest and longest-running full-day conference for women in Connecticut, the BWF has fulfilled its mission to support the next generation of businesswomen by raising scholarship
funds for those pursuing a degree in The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post. To date, the program has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships to Post students aspiring to be business executives.
