Connecticut Theatre Company is proud to present “Spring Awakening” running March 17th through April 2nd at the Repertory Theatre in New Britain.
“Spring Awakening” explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with a poignancy and passion that is illuminating and unforgettable. The landmark musical is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality, and rock and roll that has been exhilarating audiences across the nation like no other musical in years.
This musical comes to Connecticut Theatre Company as the winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and is told by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater through what Entertainment Weekly called, “the most gorgeous Broadway score this decade.”
Resident choreographer, Kim Saltzman, infuses the show with modern dance choreography you won’t want to miss.

The cast consists of gifted performers residing in Connecticut and Massachusetts. The upcoming production’s cast has been selected as follows:

Executive Director, Duane Campbell, states “Spring Awakening is an important show that gives a voice to individuals that don’t always have that voice. It’s talking about things that we as a society hide away because it’s uncomfortable. That silence is a detriment to us all.”
Please note that this musical deals with difficult subject matter, including abuse and trauma, and may not be suitable for all audiences.
The musical runs from March 17th-April 2nd with Friday and Saturday performances at 7pm and two Sunday matinees on 3/26 and 4/2 at 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance on the website at https://www.connecticuttheatrecompany.org/ or in person on the day of the show. The box office opens one hour prior to each performance.
