Psychic Medium Patricia Griffin to Appear at Seven Angels
Griffin, who was born and raised in Waterbury, is a natural-born evidential medium.

WATERBURY - Patricia Griffin, a psychic medium, will have a full circle moment when she appears live at Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury on June 2. Her parents owned and ran the Hamilton Park Pavilion when it was a roller skating rink, the building that is now the home of Seven Angels.

Griffin said that she was practically born on roller skates. “When I did my dad’s eulogy, I joked (that) the first thing they saw (when I was born) was a roller skating wheel… no head, no foot, a wheel.”
Hamilton Park Pavilion Skating Rink was very important in Griffin’s life. It brings back so many memories of her parents. “People loved them and they (still) remember them, especially my dad,” who also owned some rides at Lake Quassapaug in Middlebury.

The Griffin family has roots in Waterbury. Griffin’s brother, his father’s namesake, worked as the head of public works in Waterbury. “So it’s nice to come home and do this,” she added.
Growing up, Griffin remembers playing on the stage. “We had a Mickey Mouse club on the stage and we would walk through the Ladies’ Room to get on stage. We had cards with Mickey Mouse in red with pennies on them for entry,” she said. “It is the same floor today as it was then.”

Griffin remembers when she was a kid that we skated in front of City Hall with her Girl Scout Troop and others when Mayor Bergen was in office in an effort to keep the building for her parents.
Griffin, who was born and raised in Waterbury, is a natural-born evidential medium. She describes herself as a gifted Psychic medium, intuitive, clairvoyant, empath, Reiki Master, certified Angel Card Reader, and Angel Links Facilitator.
She has had this gift her entire life, at first afraid and unsure of what to do with it. After a traumatic family event, she decided it was time to use her gift for good - to help other people connect with their loved ones, in spirit. She began reading professionally in 2014.
Promotional material explains: “She reads with tremendous accuracy, integrity, humor, and love. She brings messages to audience members from their Loved Ones in Spirit as she receives them. These messages help bring peace, closure and comfort while letting us know that, even though we leave our physical body, our spirit and soul live on. Patricia believes that death does not separate love. Love sees all, believes all, and never ends.”
“Yes, it is a full circle moment. I am beyond thrilled and so emotional about it,” Griffin told me.
“Both my parents are gone now, but I know they will have the best seat in the house as I bring them ‘home’ for the night.”
Artistic Director Semina DeLaurentis has been “so wonderful and welcoming” to Griffin. She is thrilled that DeLaurentis would like to make Griffin’s appearance in her hometown a regular event. “She remembers my mom and dad, as she skated there as well,” Griffin told me.
Griffin hands out gift bags at her readings to let people know that their loved ones are with them. “Sometimes it’s a big wooden rock, sometimes it's an ‘I’m always with you’ ornament.” At this event, the gift bag will include an angel key ring and roller skating stickers. Griffin’s business cards will have roller skates on them that night and a hug all in honor of her parents.

The psychic medium has sold out shows in Connecticut, New York, Florida and Massachusetts. She has been seen in Connecticut on WTNH’s CT Style, and has recently added some new venues including Water’s Edge in Westbrook, Cadillac Ranch, and Heritage Hotel in Southbury. She has been performing onstage at Comix Roadhouse at Mohegan Sun for four years and recently had a sold out show of 300 people in New York, which marked the biggest show of her career.
“This is all I do,” she told me. “Sometimes I have sold out shows five days a week, in addition to private readings, large groups, private groups and fundraisers.”

Griffin is a strong proponent of education within her field. She teaches psychic development circles and mediumship courses for Milford Adult Education, Shoreline Adult Education in Branford, and Valley Regional Adult Education.
Standing on the stage will be a full-circle moment for Griffin. Among all the venues where she has performed, this will be the most meaningful. “I do so many places and this will be full circle. It always will be.”
