Purse Stolen From Parked Car, Cops Ask For Assistance: Naugatuck PD
Police said that the suspect attempted to cash a forged check in the amount of $2,300 at a bank using the stolen ID.
NAUGATUCK, CT β Police are asking the public for help in identifying the person accused of breaking into a vehicle that was parked at the Bridal Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 2.
Police said a purse was stolen from the vehicle. On Jan. 4 at 2:30 p.m. the suspect then attempted to cash a forged check in the amount of $2,300 at an Ion Bank in Meriden using the stolen ID, police said.
