Quinnipiac University Ranked 3rd Military-Friendly Private University

Quinnipiac University ranked No. 3 military-friendly private university in the United States

HAMDEN - Military Friendly®, a nonprofit that measures an organization’s commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful opportunities for the military community, has named Quinnipiac University as the No. 3 military-friendly private university in the United States that offers doctoral degrees.

“We at QU are very honored to be recognized,” said Jason Burke, director of veteran and military affairs. “The mission focus and hard work of our veterans and military-connected students are key to QU’s high ranking. That, coupled with our wonderful faculty and staff, ensures these warrior-scholars are supported and provided with an environment for camaraderie, collaboration and success.”

Schools that achieve the Military Friendly® designation show true commitment and dedication in their efforts. This recognition provides schools with a benchmark that promotes positive educational outcomes, resources, and support services that better the educational landscape and provide opportunity for the military community.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 1,800 schools participated in the survey, with 665 schools earning the designation.

The Military Friendly® Schools list will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine.
