Recent Changes for NVCC Danbury Campus ONLY
NVCC has made the difficult decision to not open the DANBURY campus for the next two weeks.

DANBURY, CT - The Connecticut Department of Public Health has noticed a recent spike in COVID-19 cases in Danbury. In an effort to help the State stop the spread of the virus, and with the recommendation of the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health, NVCC has made the difficult decision to not open the DANBURY campus for the next two weeks (Monday, August 24 to Sunday, September 6).
This decision was made out of an abundance of caution, to protect the health of all students, faculty, and staff. The Danbury closure does not apply to NVCC’s Waterbury campus.
All courses scheduled in a traditional, on-ground format on the DANBURY campus will be held online. These courses will begin as LRON (Live Remote Online), which means that students and faculty will meet virtually via Blackboard at the regularly scheduled days and times starting on Wednesday, August 26, as planned. We hope the traditional, on-ground classes will return to the campus as soon as it is safe to do so.

We understand that delaying the on-ground learning experience is inconvenient and disappointing to students and their families. However, it is our responsibility to follow state recommendations to keep our students, faculty, and staff as safe as possible while doing our part to prevent further spread in the community.
