Naugatuck High School student Emily Sturtevant did an amazing job reaching out to Rep. Hayes and organizing her visit.

The media center was full of students who chose to come listen as Rep. Hayes shared her journey from high school dropout to National Teacher of the Year to being elected as the first Black woman to represent Connecticut in Congress.
