Retired Naugatuck Firefighter Leo Roberts Mourned

The NFD is sad to hear of the passing of Retired FF Leo Roberts. Leo worked at the NFD from 1958-1966 and 1976-1991. He was also a FF at Uniroyal Chemical from 1966-1976 and a professional truck driver throughout his life. Leo was a great FF, friend and mentor who continued stopping at our fire stations during his retirement, teaching the new guys and sharing his experiences. He would help anyone in need. Leo will be missed by all. Our condolences to his family.
