Ribbon Cutting for Children's Community School
CCS students blew bubbles and well wishes to the sky as the ribbon was cut by three middle school students.

The ribbon cutting was held on Aug. 31 in front of the new school with our students, teachers, and staff welcoming all who came and celebrated with them.
CCS students blew bubbles and well wishes to the sky as the ribbon was cut by three middle school students who volunteered their summer to help with the move.
Thank you to all who shared this joyful day with Children's Community School.

We are so close! The summer has flown by so quickly as we prepare to start school at our new location (23 John Street, Waterbury).
Moving CCS after being at the same location for 45 years has been a herculean effort that has been EXTREMELY difficult, but rewarding in so many ways. We can not wait for our students to walk through the front door on August 28th and see a gym, a stage, their new classrooms, new teachers, new students, and so much more.

Thank you to the teachers, staff, and administrators who have been here each and every day to pack and unpack. To the CCS students who are volunteering their time this summer to help do the same. To Drew Marine, MacDermid, ion Bank, and Thomaston Savings Bank for sending volunteers to assist with packing, moving, and cleaning - it takes a village.
To the businesses who knew we were in a time crunch and stepped up to help make us operational before the first day of school. (JB Movers, B Kane Electric, Clean Image, MJ Fahy & Sons, Sandy's Appliance, Beyond IT, BASE Technologies, Sterling Security, NexaCom, and more...)
If you would like to visit our new location for a student-led tour, volunteer, or make a donation, please reach out to Sue Mellitt, development@ccswaterbury.org
