UPDATE: Route 63 is Now Open Again After an Accident

UPDATE: ROUTE 63 is now open in both directions – Ahead of schedule, police said.

Detours are set (Porter St to Spring Street to Bridge Street) however motorist are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

***Route 63 (North Church St) CLOSED due to utiliy pole down. ***

Route 63 is closed due to a downed utility pole caused by a motor vehicle accident late last night (Friday 4/15/16). The accident occurred at Route 63 and Buckingham St.. The road is expected to be closed for the rest of the morning and possibly into the early afternoon as utility crews work to replace the pole.
