Road Closures, Detours Scheduled For Naugatuck Saturday: Police
Traffic detours will be in place during the annual 22 for 22 Hike for Veteran Suicide Awareness in Naugatuck, according to police.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Traffic detours will be in place Saturday during the annual 22 for 22 Hike for Veteran Suicide Awareness in Naugatuck, according to police.
Police said on Facebook the event is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., during which specific areas such as the Naugatuck Entertainment Center, located at 6 Rubber Avenue, and the Tuttle Building, located on the corner of Meadow Street and Water Street, are expected to have detours in place.
Additional detours and road closures are expected downtown later in the day during the festival, police said. Specifically, Church Street will be fully closed from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., as will Old Firehouse Road from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for fireworks.
