Roger William Jensen, Sr., age 59, of Mill Spring, NC, formerly of Naugatuck, Connecticut, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Roger was born Sunday, March 10, 1963, in New Haven County, Connecticut to the late Herbert Jensen and Patricia Hubbell Jensen. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Army Airborne 82nd Division. He was also an avid fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Tracey Jensen, a daughter-in-law, Stacey Jensen, and a brother-in-law, David Holycross.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 18 years, Karen Johnson Jensen; two sons, Jimmy Jensen, Roger W. Jensen, Jr., and his grandkids, Emma, and Ian; one stepson, Joseph Tulloch (Jill); siblings, Robert Jensen (Doreen), Debra Holycross, Roy Jensen (Mer), Randall Jensen (Katrina) of Mill Spring, Karen Aceto (Daniel), two step grandchildren, Souleena and Christopher Tulloch; a brother-in-law, Charles Johnson (Angie), and a host of nieces and nephews.
