School District Cancels Professional Development Day

Students are to report to school on Thursday, Nov. 10, a day they were originally supposed to be off due to the professional development day.

A professional development day for Naugatuck teachers and school staff scheduled for next week has been canceled.

This means that there will be a regular, full day of school for students from Pre-K to Grade 12 on Thursday, Nov. 10, said Assistant Superintendent Brigitte Crispino.

Originally, students were to have a day off, however due to this entire school week being canceled the district has opted to have classes all day next week.
