SEVEN ANGELS THEATRE IN WATERBURY KICKS OFF THEIR 33RD MAINSTAGE SEASON WITH SECONDO ON MARCH 16!

Seven Angels Theatre is back with the Equity production of "Secondo" on March 16. The playwright behind "Italian Mom Loves You!," "Love & Spumoni" and "I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti" returns to Seven Angels Theatre with this new comedy!

Maria Baratta is back in this new comedy by Jacques Lamarre, based on the stories of Giulia Melucci. Directing will be Michael Schiralli. The production will run through to April 2.

On the evening of her 10th wedding anniversary, we join Giulia in her kitchen to discover how married life has provided unexpected delights and challenges. While Giulia rushes to prepare her anniversary dinner, we learn that a boyfriend from the past has resurfaced to complicate her recipe for a happy marriage. How will it end? Well, just come and see this new comedy. And some audience members will be part of the “cast” eating the food that is being prepared on stage!
Secondo serves up new stories, delicious food, and a bellyful of laughs. You don’t need to have seen I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti to enjoy this new show!


Plus, Seven Angels is offering special complimentary food and drink nights and matinees at these performances.

Jacques Lamarre (playwright) is a Connecticut-based writer who has had three previous productions at Seven Angels Theatre: I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti; Born Fat; and Love & Spumoni. For TheaterWorks Hartford, he premiered I Loved, I Lost…, Raging Skillet, Christmas on the Rocks (co-writer), and, upcoming, Secondo: The Sequel to I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti. His plays have been seen at Asolo Repertory Theatre, George Street Playhouse, Cincinnati Playhouse on the Park, Half Moon Theatre, Stoneham Theatre Company, Florida Repertory Theatre, Center Stage at the JCC, New Jewish Theatre, Emerson Theatre Collaborative, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre, Penobscott Playhouse, Crossroads Repertory Theatre, Beaumont Community Players, Triangle Rep, Philly Fringe, Little Theatre of the Rockies, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, Zeitgeist Stage, and the Warehouse Theatre.
