Senior Assisted Living Facility Proposed In Naugatuck: Report

NAUGATUCK, CT — Senior Living Development is seeking approval to construct a 60,000-square-foot senior assisted living facility at 491-501 North Main St. and 24 Wood St., the Republican-American reports.

It's a 1.26 acre parcel. A hearing is scheduled for Sept. 16 before the Zoning Commission.

The development is for anyone over the age of 62 and would include 116 bedrooms. The project is valued at $14 million and it could lead to 75 jobs.
