Shoplifting Case Investigated In Naugatuck: Police

Naugatuck police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A man stole three cartons of cigarettes from the Rite-Aid on Rubber Avenue in Naugatuck Monday, and police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.

The left occurred at about 2:35 p.m., and the suspect drove away in a newer model Jeep Liberty pictured above.

Police said the suspect was described as Black and heavy-set. He stood about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighed about 300 pounds, and was wearing a gray knit hat, gray sweater and mask.
