SHU Pioneer Open Golf June 22-23
Organizers will be taking a sensibly modified approach to the playing format that meets all health and safety requirements.

FAIRFIELD, CT - For more than three decades, the Pioneer Open has been an important Sacred Heart tradition. Founded by a deeply committed group of loyal alumni to support student needs, the golf tournament has been a shining example of the University community coming together for a great cause and to have a memorable day out on the links.
Golf has been one of the few recreational and sporting activities people have been able to enjoy over the last two months. We have given very careful consideration to the status of the Pioneer Open and are excited to be moving forward an event on June 22 and 23. We will be taking a sensibly modified approach to the playing format that meets all health and safety requirements.

Our goal is to make this a fun and accessible event with a little friendly competition and social distant camaraderie in support of SHU students.
We have created a number of different sponsorship and playing opportunities. Our capacity is reduced, so I encourage you to register online or reach out to me with your interest and questions as soon as possible at 860-921-7447 or gibbst@sacredheart.edu.
