Simply Smiles Welcomes Foster Children; Breaking Ground on Home 2

Simply Smiles has welcomed the first foster children to live in their care at the Simply Smiles Children's Village on the Cheyenne River Reservation!

The children are living in this beautiful home and in the care of our first foster parent LaPrincia!

At the Simply Smiles Children’s Village on the Reservation, we envision a future in which children in our care go on to become the next generation of Lakota leaders. We also know that kids cannot dream or plan or imagine their future if they do not first feel safe. With time, patience, and consistency, we have the opportunity to help children reimagine a world where they matter, where they are safe, and where they are loved. We can think of no better way to spend our minutes together on this earth than by securing bright futures for our children.

And, because of the tremendous need for child placement options for Native youth in the foster care system, Simply Smiles has broken ground on the second home in the Children's Village! Check it out:

• We will not be sharing photos of children or details of a child's life (or that of their families) who live at the Simply Smiles Children's Village.
• The Children’s Village property on the Reservation is a private residence and a safe space where children live in individual homes with foster parents. There will be NO ACCESS to the Village property without advance permission from Simply Smiles and a background check.
