Sobriety Checkpoint Planned In Naugatuck: Police
Police announced a sobriety checkpoint will be conducted in Naugatuck this week.
NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Thursday, Sept. 10, during the evening hours.
According to the department's Facebook page, the checkpoint will take place from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Salem Bridge (CT Rt. 63) between South Main Street and Cherry Street.
"Please plan ahead, designate a sober driver, and never drive impaired," police wrote on Facebook.

Police also noted the department is required by law to alert the public of the upcoming checkpoint.
