Someone Tried To Torch A Stolen SUV In Naugatuck, It Didn't Work

NAUGATUCK, CT — New details have been released concerning why police are so interested in finding out who sold a specific 30-ounce bottle of Clorox Bleach priced at $2.79.

My Citizen's News says police believe that the bottle of bleach is connected to an attempt by someone to torch a SUV on Greenwood Street Monday. An accelerant was used but the attempt to start the fire failed, according to police.

Police say the SUV was stolen and connected to an incident in Bridgeport. The Clorox Bleach bottle was found near the SUV. Bridgeport Police declined to elaborate, My Citizen's News reports.
