St. Vincent Parishioner Awarded 2025 St. Joseph Medal of Appreciation

Congratulations to Lynn Dobi of Naugatuck on this well-deserved award.

Preceding the Solemnity of Saint Joseph on March 19, Archbishop Christopher Coyne presided at the annual Saint Joseph Medal of Appreciation on March 16 at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Hartford.

After Daytime Prayer and his homily, Archbishop Coyne bestowed medals on and gave thanks to 101 recipients from 75 parishes throughout the archdiocese for their service to and support of their parishes.

Naugatuck resident Mrs. Lynn Dobi was this year's recipient of the St. Joseph Medal of Appreciation for her work with St. Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church in Naugatuck. She is a dedicated long-time member of the church choir.

In addition to the parish recipients, Archbishop Coyne and Monsignor James Shanley acknowledged six others for their Outstanding Service to the Archdiocese of Hartford:


- Sister Mary Ellen Burns, ASCJ - Apostle Immigrant Services
- Ralph Carpinella - Greater Waterbury
- Dr. Thomas Finn - Franciscan Life Center
- Jamie Kalamarides - Connecticut Catholic Foundation
- Sister Frances Elisabeth MacKay, lsp - Little Sisters of the Poor - St. Joseph's Residence for the Elderly
- Diana Tierinni - Archdiocese of Hartford
