State Representatives Serving Naugatuck Stand Unopposed

State Representatives David Labriola and Rosa Rebimbas stand unopposed in their bids for reelection, My Citizen News reports.

Labriola and Rebimbas, both Republicans serve the state’s 131st and 70th house districts respectively.

According to the paper, Labriola will be going into his seventh term serving the 131st district representing Naugatuck, Oxford and Southbury. He was first elected to the State House of Representatives in 2002.

Rebimbas was first elected to the Connecticut House of Representatives in 2009 in a special election and will be going into her second term serving the 70th district representing Naugatuck.

For both Labriola and Rebimbas, this will be the second consecutive election where they stand unopposed, the paper reports.
