In-Person Non-Credit Lecturer Regional Recruitment Set for Oct. 21

The CT State Community Colleges will host a virtual job fair from 2 – 6 PM to recruit candidates for openings as part-time lecturers, non-credit lecturers and administrative staff positions at each of its 12 campuses across the state.

In addition, Asnuntuck, Naugatuck Valley, Northwestern Connecticut, and Tunxis Community Colleges will hold a combined Regional Faculty Job Fair for noncredit part-time teaching positions only in Workforce Development & Continuing Education on Oct. 21, from 5-7 p.m. at Tunxis, 271 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington. On Oct. 14, academic program coordinators and department chairs from across the CT State system will be available to discuss opportunities at their respective campuses. Featured lecturer positions include opportunities in Music, Art, Allied Health, Drug and Alcohol Counseling, Communications, Engineering Technology, English as a Second Language, Manufacturing, and many more. Many open positions come with excellent benefits.

The Oct. 14 event is free and open to the public and will be conducted via WebEx. Advance registration is highly encouraged. Participants are advised to download or enable WebEx on your device in advance. Persons vaccinated against COVID 19 are highly encouraged to apply. On Oct. 21, Continuing Education & Workforce Development staff will be on hand at Tunxis to answer questions. Attendees are asked to bring resumes. Instructor job openings are available day and evening in Central Sterile Processing, Cosmetology/Hairdressing, Nail Technology, Certified Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy, Plumbing, Welding, and a variety of other disciplines for those interested in teaching online or on campus. These career-oriented noncredit programs have varying requirements with an emphasis on industry experience.
