Stolen Vehicle Strikes Sign In Naugatuck, Police Seeking Information: PD

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police are seeking information after a stolen vehicle struck a sign in Naugatuck early Friday morning, according to the Naugatuck Police Department.

In a Facebook post, police said the incident occurred around 6 a.m. near a roundabout.

According to police, witnesses reported seeing three people abandon the vehicle and flee on foot toward Elm Street.

Officers and a Connecticut State Police K9 team searched the area but were not able to locate them, police said.

Officers later confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Derby, according to police.
