Student Recuperating After Being Struck By Vehicle In Waterbury: PD
The girl is listed in stable condition following the Wednesday morning accident, police said.
WATERBURY, CT — A nine-year-old female student at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning, according to police.
Public Information Officer Sgt. Joseph Morais said the girl sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.
The incident was reported to police at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday. The Catholic school is on Congress Avenue.

The driver remained on scene and was cooperative with police, and the accident is under investigation, police said.
