Lake Compounce Summer Concert Series Begins This Weekend
America’s First Amusement Park releases full lineup with addition of Sugar Ray, set to perform on June 3
BRISTOL, CT – I just wanna fly… to the official park of family fun for the beginning of the Lake Compounce Summer Concert Series! The park’s full lineup for the summer concert series is now complete and includes a special performance by Sugar Ray on June 3.
The park’s all-new lake stage is set to start rockin’ this Saturday, May 27 at 6p.m. with a performance from Red Hot Tribute, a tribute to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, followed by a second performance on Sunday at 6p.m. from country music star Jerrod Niemann. Live concerts on the floating lake stage will continue every Saturday through Labor Day weekend.

In addition to Sugar Ray and Jerrod Niemann, the park will host four additional national performances scheduled for June and July. Other national performances include Everclear on June 10, CeeLo Green on June 24, Cannon Smith on July 15 and All-4-One on July 22. “The beach is going to be bouncing as we debut our floating stage during the unofficial start of summer,” says General Manager Doug Hemphill. “We’re thrilled to debut our full lineup of the summer concert series and are looking forward to welcoming guests for what’s sure to be a rockin’ season!”
The 2023 Lake Compounce Summer Concert Series will run every single Saturday from May 27 through Labor Day weekend with additional performances on July 1, 3 and 4. Every single concert in July will conclude with a boomin’ fireworks show at 9p.m. Each concert and fireworks show will be included with general park admission, but guests can catch them all with a Silver, Gold or Platinum Season Passes.
Connecticut’s Largest Water Park, Crocodile Cove is also set to open this Saturday, May 27. The park’s new stage will take center stage in the water park, floating directly on the lake with viewpoints to performances from the beach, cabanas and Croc Pot patio, in addition to several other angles throughout the water park. Plus, guests can enjoy a lap around the park’s infamous Croc-o-Nile, dive into the jaws of the six-story Venus Vortex and amp up the fun on the park’s newest water slide experience, Storm Surge.
