Summer Enrollment Now Open at NVCC

A wide variety of credit courses are available during the two summer sessions.

Waterbury- Naugatuck Valley Community College is now enrolling students in credit and non-credit courses for the summer! Summer classes are a great way to learn something new, finish up some course credits, or prepare for a new career to advance in the workforce.

A wide variety of credit courses are available during the two summer sessions. The first session begins on June 6 and the second session starts on July 11. Course offerings include business, communication, digital arts, English, manufacturing, mathematics, Spanish, sociology, and more!

The college is also offering a summer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course, with classes conducted by Connecticut State certified EMS instructors. The class runs June 6 through July 29, meeting online on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am- 4:30 pm and in person on Fridays from 9 am- 4:30 pm. Students earn six colleges credits upon completion of the training and EMTs are in high demand. For more information, visit nv.edu/emt or call 203-596-8746.

“It is with great enthusiasm that the NVCC Admissions Department welcomes students to our summer sessions and to our campus community,” shared Blayre Millo, Associate Director of Admissions at NVCC. “We look forward to the opportunity to assist and guide our students as they begin or continue their educational paths at NVCC this summer!”

NVCC is also offering a wide variety of non-credit courses this summer, including courses in business, certified nursing assistant, computer science, real estate, and more. A one-day Certified Security Officer course is also being offered on Saturday, July 9 at the Waterbury Campus.
