Suspect Accused Of Stealing Car Parts From Naugatuck Dealership

The theft occurred in November 2020, according to Naugatuck police.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A 29-year-old New Haven man was arrested on a warrant last week charging him with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny in connection with the theft of car parts from vehicles at a Naugatuck dealership, according to police.

Details of the arrest of Alex Ruiz on Jan. 26 were not disclosed, nor was the name of the dealership where police said the November 2020 thefts occurred.

What parts were stolen, and their values, also were not disclosed by police.

Ruiz was released after posting bond on bail of $10,000, and he is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 9.
