Suspects Broke Into Unlocked Cars, Stole Items: Naugatuck Police
The suspects were caught on video and police are asking the public for assistance in solving the case.
NAUGATUCK, CT β Naugatuck Police are asking for the publicβs assistance in investigating thefts from motor vehicles. On Feb. 1 at 4:44 a.m. at least four unknown individuals entered and took items from multiple vehicles, police said.
The four suspects were operating a newer style dark-blue, 4-door sedan. This particular incident was captured on video surveillance on Debbie Lane.
"However, at this time we have received similar complaints in the area of Debbie Lane which are believed to be related. The operator of the motor vehicle appears to be a Black/Hispanic male with a chin-strap style beard. Another suspect appears to be a shorter white female. All of these incidents involve items stolen from motor vehicles which were left unlocked. Naugatuck Police remind the community to please lock your vehicles and remove all valuables to prevent victimization. These incidents remain under investigation," police said in a news release.
