Suspects Sought In Separate Naugatuck Crimes: Police
Naugatuck police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects in a pair of incidents.

NAUGATUCK, CT β Naugatuck police are asking for the public's help in identifying suspects in separate crimes that occurred on Sept. 8 and 14.
In the incident on the 8th, a man stole $416 worth of groceries from the Naugatuck Stop and Shop just before 6 p.m. (see the first Facebook post below)
The suspect loaded the goods into "an older model black Jeep with CT misuse registration 146ZKS," and drove off.

Anyone with any information on the suspect or the theft is urged to contact the department at 203-729-5221.
In the second incident, at least two suspects broke into Sibby's Automotive at 600 High St., and one was chased by police on foot before escaping. Whether anything was stolen was not disclosed.

"One [suspect] is described as a white male, thin build with brown hair," Naugatuck police said (see the second Facebook post below). "The other suspect is described as a black male."
