SUV Stolen In Less Than 10 Seconds In Naugatuck: Video
Police shared video of a man stealing an SUV out of a driveway in less than 10 seconds Wednesday morning in Naugatuck.

NAUGATUCK, CT β Police are asking for help with identifying a car thief who stole a vehicle in less than 10 seconds Wednesday morning in Naugatuck.
Police said the theft happened around 8 a.m. in the 200 block of Mulberry Street. The man, pictured, can be seen in surveillance video entering the victimβs unlocked vehicle and driving away. The stolen vehicle is a blue 2016 Honda CRV with Connecticut registration AF76984.
βNaugatuck Police are releasing this footage with the suspect photo so that the public can see not only how brazen motor vehicle thieves are, but also the short amount of time that it takes for the suspect to steal a vehicle from a home or business,β police wrote in a news release. βDespite the cold weather please avoid idling your vehicles, remove your keys and all valuables from your vehicle. It is only through education and partnership with our community that we will be able to reduce this increase in crime.β
