Teacher Investigated Over 'Inappropriate Contact' Complaint: PD

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Police confirm they are investigating allegations of "inappropriate contact" between a teacher and a student.

"Naugatuck Police were notified on January 23, 2019 by the Naugatuck School District of an allegation of inappropriate contact between a teacher and student(s). As a result of this allegation a criminal investigation has been initiated and is currently ongoing by detectives of the Naugatuck Police Department. The case remains active and there is no other information for release at this time," police said in a brief news release.
