Teen Facing Charges After Crashing Stolen Car In Waterbury: Reports

WATERBURY, CT — A 15-year-old boy is facing charges after a crash between two cars, one of which was stolen, in Waterbury Sunday evening, according to multiple reports that cite police.

The crash occurred near Wolcott and Street and Sharon Road around 7:30 p.m., after the stolen car ran a red light, WTNH reported.

The drivers of both cars were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to WFSB.

The 15-year-old was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle without a license, and failure to obey a traffic control signal, the outlet continued.
