Top of the Mornin' Tea at the Horgan Academy

WATR 1320AM did a live broadcast during the St. Patrick's Day tradition hosted by the Horgan Academy of Irish Dance.

The Horgan Academy in Naugatuck hosted the annual Top O' The Morning Tea on Friday morning, kicking off their busy St. Patrick's Day weekend. Tom Chute hosted a live broadcast from the Irish dance academy from 6:30am to 9:00am.

Visitors enjoyed the breakfast featuring Irish tea, green and white bagels and Irish soda bread. Naugatuck Mayor "Pete" Hess appeared during the final half hour of the broadcast. The show ended with the traditional raffle drawings.

The Horgan sisters announced on the air that the Horgan Academy will present a FREE Irish Dance Class on Saturday March 16 at 10:30am at the dance school. All are invited to attend.

It was a great surprise this morning during our live remote broadcast from the Horgan Academy of Irish Dance in Naugatuck to see our own Johnny K get out on the dance floor to show the moves he has learned! Teach us a few of those steps, JK! — at Horgan Academy of Irish Dance.
