9. Barefoot in the Park at TheatreWorks New Milford - The small cast kept the audience laughing throughout this comedy set in the sixties.
8. Twelfth Night at Phoenix Stage Company - It was a great year for Shakespeare lovers like me.

7. The Underpants at Phoenix Stage Company - The cast did a wonderful job with Steve Martin’s silly play.
6. Jellofish at Phoenix Stage Company - The four characters, which are very well-defined in this often funny, sometimes touching play, made this world premiere memorable.
5. King Lear by Shakesperience - Professor David Richman as a blind King Lear made this production a stand out.
4. A Christmas Carol by Landmark Community Theatre at the Thomaston Opera House - A heartwarming holiday production with some surprises.
3. Brighton Beach Memoirs at Seven Angels - Carey Cannata in a leading role along with a fine cast made for a very funny comedy.
2. A View from the Bridge by Warner Stage Company - John Ozerhoski’s amazing performance remains unforgettable.
1. Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and Then Some) at Phoenix Stage Company - Still the funniest piece, holiday or otherwise, that I attended this year.
A few runner ups: The Cemetery Club at Phoenix Stage, Bonnie and Clyde at TheatreWorks New Milford and Pericles by Hudson Shakespeare Company.
