Tribute to an Early Leader of CCS
The Children's Community School in Waterbury regrets to announce the passing of a man who was one of the first Board Directors.
WATERBURY, CT - The Children's Community School in Waterbury regrets to announce the passing of a man who was one of our first Board Directors, John Penhallow. John was recognized with the CCS Robert Mellon Service Award at its 2015 Annual Dinner. (Read the tribute here.)
Family members continued to bring him to the Annual Dinner the last couple of years before his health started failing him. We can only imagine how satisfying that was for him to see that his early vision and efforts for this school have become a successful reality.
Our admiration for his work and our deepest sympathies go to his family at this time.
