'Unconscious' Man Charged With DUI: Naugatuck Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck resident is accused of DUI, police said. Police say they investigated a suspicious vehicle with an unconscious occupant at the Ion Bank -87 Church St.

Police suspected Johnathan S. Salvestrini, 37, of Woodside, to be under the influence and administered sobriety tests which the accused failed to perform to standard, police said.

The accused was subsequently taken into custody and charged with DUI and released on bond pending his appearance at Waterbury Superior Court, police said.
